When I decided to publish my work I had a vision, and somewhere along the way, between learning the business and adjusting to the world as it is, that vision was lost. I took a step back recently to assess what it was that I was missing, and that is when I realized that my original goal had been buried under a big pile of "don't do that". In the beginning I started publishing to share "feels" maybe they are good "feels", maybe they are bad "feels" but nonetheless I wanted the things I wrote to have a place in the world where they would be available to touch people in some way or another. I wanted them to be able to provoke thought and emotion. I wanted to introduce myself and others to a different way of thinking about things and I wanted to use fiction as my medium. I veered off my path for a little bit, and I learned a lot, and now I'm ready to shelve what I learned and get back to my original vision. So in addition to Unfeigned Fables I started a blog called Not So Unfeigned Fables, where my work is available to be enjoyed, or not, depending on the piece. Now I have a place for things that are real, and a place for things that are not so real. :)
